Fashion for November

“Over the years I have learned that what is important in a dress is the woman who is wearing it,” –Yves Saint-Laurent.

November can be a confusing time for fashion. You go out in the mornings and you need a winter jacket, but by midday, you’re sweating through your parka. But November fashion can be an interesting and fun time to experiment with clothes and accessories. Let’s take a look at what we can expect to see in the world of fashion for this month.
Plaid is the new black, or at least it is for this season. This timeless look has been around for hundreds of years, keeping millions of people warm through the harshness of winter. This season, a lovely plaid coat of any colour is sure to make heads turn while you strut your stuff through the snowy white backdrop. Even if there isn’t any snow on the ground, a lovely green plaid coat will look stunning amongst an orange backdrop. But don’t think plaid is a pattern reserved for just coats. A simple plaid scarf or pair of gloves can go a long way and can make any outfit look glamorous in seconds.
With winter just around the corner, a good coat can be the difference between a winter of comfort and a winter of bone-chilling cold. This season, the coat to have is a coat made of snow-white fur. Designers like Louis Vuitton and Stella McCartney have all had furry white coats grace their runways with their warm presence. Don’t worry if you’re worried about hurting animals, a majority of these coats are made out of faux fur! Looking good without hurting any animals? Sounds good to me!
